8th November 2025 @ 9:30 am – 5:00 pm – A one day course covering how to turn a platter and how to turn a bowl including ways to mount the blank on the lathe; effective chuck attachment; grain orientation; use of spindle and bowl gouges and choices for finishing. Learn about all aspects of box making and try your hand at making a small end grain box with a push fit lid, followed by tuition on the ins and outs of thread chasing and make a threaded box.

Half day Woodturning experience

12th December 2025 @ 9:30 am – 1:00 pm – A 3 hour (approx) course covering the basics of spindle turning and production of a simple project. Usual start time 9:30am and finish time around 12:30-1:00pm. Up to four people can be accommodated and I welcome group bookings.
