25th January 2026 @ 9:30 am – 5:00 pm – A one day course covering how to turn a platter and how to turn a bowl including ways to mount the blank on the lathe; effective chuck attachment; grain orientation; use of spindle and bowl gouges and choices for finishing. The 6 hours excludes breaks and the finish time is approximate.
10th March 2026 @ 9:30 am – 1:00 pm – A 3 hour (approx) course covering the basics of spindle turning and production of a simple project. Usual start time 9:30am and finish time around 12:30-1:00pm. Up to four people can be accommodated and I welcome group bookings.
