A one day (6 hours approx) woodturning course covering the basics of platter and bowl turning. The day includes wood selection, grain orientation, how to mount a blank, shaping and hollowing and basic bowl turning techniques and putting it all in practice to make a platter and bowl to take away.
Usual start time 9:30am and finish time around 4:30-5:00pm. Up to four people can be accommodated and I welcome group bookings.
This course can be combined with the beginners spindle turning day for a two day course and if you book the two day course you save money too!
